Construction Site Security in Toronto & the GTA

Active sites are a standing target: copper, tools, fuel and equipment, behind a fence, unattended most of the night. NEXION deploys temporary surveillance that covers the site during the build — and designs the permanent systems into the finished building at the same time.

One contractor for both phases means the cameras protecting your site are planned by the same team that will wire the completed property.

What we deploy

Temporary site surveillance

Coverage deployed for the build, positioned around lay-down areas, gates and material storage.

Perimeter & gate monitoring

Fence lines, access gates and vehicle movement, with detection tuned to people and vehicles.

After-hours alerts

AI detection that flags real intrusion instead of firing on weather and site debris.

Equipment & material coverage

Eyes on the things that actually get taken — tools, copper, fuel and plant.

Permanent systems designed in

Cabling, cameras and access control planned into the build rather than retrofitted later.

Trade coordination

We work to the construction schedule alongside your other trades and the general contractor.

What you're dealing with

  • 01Sites losing tools, copper or fuel overnight
  • 02Insurance or contract requirements for site monitoring
  • 03Builds where technology has not been planned before walls close
  • 04General contractors wanting one technology subcontractor, not four

How we work with you

01

Site review

We assess the perimeter, access points and what is worth protecting.

02

Deploy temporary

Surveillance goes up for the build phase, positioned for real risk.

03

Design permanent

In parallel, we plan the finished building's cabling and security.

04

Transition

Temporary comes down as the permanent system goes live.

Frequently asked

Can you secure a site before power and network are available?

Yes. Temporary site surveillance is designed for exactly that stage, and we plan around the power and connectivity actually available on site during the build.

Should technology be planned during construction or added after?

During. Cable routes, equipment rooms and device positions are far cheaper to place before walls and ceilings close. Retrofitting means cutting, patching and visible surface conduit.

Do you work as a subcontractor to the general contractor?

Yes. We coordinate with GCs and other trades, work to the construction schedule, and deliver the whole technology scope as one subcontractor.

Which areas do you cover?

We secure construction sites across Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough and across the Greater Toronto Area.
